\nLocation:North Cotswolds (OX15 5BB)
\n Salary: £29,000-£32,000 per annum
\n Hours: 4045 hours per week (rota-based). Part-time hours may also be considered.
\n Shifts: Daytime hours only (early breakfast start, daytime finish). Evenings are not a regular requirement. Weekend working required.

\nThe Role
\nTo be a vital support in the smooth running of the kitchen, working alongside the Head Chef, Sous Chef, and wider team. You will help deliver high-quality, locally sourced dishes with a focus on breakfast service and bar menu offerings, in line with the business values of professionalism, integrity, and teamwork.
\nYou will thrive in a fast-paced, demanding kitchen environment and take pride in delivering consistent, first-class food while sharing knowledge of local and homegrown produce.
\nKey responsibilities:

- Deliver an excellent food experience with a focus on breakfast and bar menu service \n
- Understand menu items and ensure dishes are consistently produced to a high standard \n
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team \n
- Assist with preparation and input into menu development where required \n
- Understand dietary requirements and ensure food is delivered accordingly \n
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety at all times \n
- Take responsibility for health & safety compliance and reporting concerns \n
- Step up confidently when required to support kitchen leadership \n
- Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure smooth service \n
- Champion local, seasonal, and homegrown produce (Ecology Island concept) \n
- Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and a positive attitude \n
- Be flexible to work shifts, including weekends and evenings \n
- Contribute to sustainability and environmental awareness in daily operations \n
What Were Looking For

- Experience working in a commercial kitchen (Rosette-level experience preferred) \n
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy breakfast service \n
- Strong multitasking and time management skills \n
- Good spoken English \n
- Excellent hygiene and food safety standards \n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team \n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills \n
- Problem-solving ability and calm approach under pressure \n
- High attention to detail and plate presentation \n
- Right to work in the UK \n
- Physical fitness for long periods on your feet \n
