Autism Teaching Assistant - Specialist School

Location: SheffieldPay: £95-£120 per day (depending on experience)Contract: Full-time | Term Time Only

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a specialist Autism (ASC) school that is part of a well-established Multi Academy Trust. We are looking for a dedicated Autism Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of autism diagnoses and associated learning needs.

This is a full-time role where you will work closely with teaching staff and other professionals to help create a positive, structured and engaging learning environment. The school is seeking someone who is patient, proactive and passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs.

• Support pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) both in and out of the classroom.
\n
• Assist with delivering personalised learning and intervention activities.
\n
• Promote positive behaviour and support emotional regulation.
\n
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
\n
• Work collaboratively as part of a supportive school team.
\n

\n
• Previous experience supporting children or young people with Autism and/or additional needs.
\n
• A calm, resilient and adaptable approach.
\n
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
\n
• A genuine passion for working within specialist education.
\n
• Full-time availability.
\n

The daily rate for this role ranges from £95-£120 per day.

• Previous relevant SEND/ASC experience is essential.
\n
• Full-time availability is required.
\n
• Final pay rate will also be dependent on the school's allocated budget and your level of experience.
