\n This opportunity would suit someone who has previously worked in a furniture, cabinetmaking or joinery workshop and is looking to use their practical knowledge in an estimating and commercial role.\n
The Role\n
\n

\n
• Reviewing drawings and customer specifications
\n
• Estimating materials, labour and production costs
\n
• Preparing quotations
\n
• Liaising with workshop and production teams
\n
• Calculating material quantities
\n
• Supporting the pricing of bespoke furniture and joinery projects
\n
• Contacting suppliers for prices and lead times
\n
• Updating estimates and project information
\n
• Helping ensure quotations are accurate and commercially competitive
\n

Requirements\n
\n

\n
• Previous experience working in a furniture, joinery or cabinetmaking workshop
\n
• Good understanding of furniture manufacturing processes
\n
• Able to read drawings and specifications
\n
• Good numerical and computer skills
\n
• Strong attention to detail
\n
• Commercially aware and willing to learn
\n
• Good communication and organisational skills
\n

Previous estimating experience would be beneficial, but practical workshop knowledge is essential.\n
