Gate Automation Contracts Manager
Job Description
Our client is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join its busy team in South East/East Sussex.
\n The role will focus on: Commercial automatic gates, barriers, access control systems, and associated infrastructure.
\n This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to join a growing business, taking ownership of projects from order through to completion while managing engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and client relationships.
\n Key Responsibilities
\n - Manage multiple gate, barrier and access control projects simultaneously.
\n - Oversee installation, service and maintenance contracts from inception to completion.
\n - Plan labour resources and coordinate directly employed engineers and subcontractors.
\n - Conduct site surveys, client meetings and project progress reviews.
\n - Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
\n - Review and manage project programmes, RAMS and contractual documentation.
\n - Monitor project costs, variations and profitability.
\n - Ensure commissioning, testing and handover processes are completed correctly.
\n - Maintain excellent client relationships and identify opportunities for additional works.
\n - Drive compliance with Health & Safety legislation and industry best practice.
\n - Support operational improvement and business growth initiatives.
\n Requirements:
\n - Relevant industry experience.
\n - Strong Microsoft Office and IT skills.
\n Also Desirable:
\n - CSCS Card.
\n - Gate Safe Certification.
\n - DHF Automated Gate Training.
\n - SMSTS or SSSTS.
\n - IOSH or NEBOSH.
\n - First Aid.
\n - ECS Card.
\n - HSG47 Training.
\n The ideal applicants will be self-sufficient, whilst also working well in a team. You will have good industry/sector relevant experience across Project, Operations or Contracts management.
