\nWe welcome applicants from a range of backgrounds and experience. To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:
\nEssential:
\nNVQ Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating or relevant equivalent
\nMinimum of 3 years experience as a plumbing & heating engineer or a similar role
\nUnvented Hot Water and Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations certifications
\nKnowledge and strong understanding of commercial mechanical systems
\nWillingness to travel on a daily basis and stay away when required for the needs of the business
\nA proactive, positive and solutions-focused approach aligned with our values of Building, Sharing, and Caring
\nExcellent communication and teamwork skills
\nConfidence using IT systems (Microsoft Office and project tools). Site based employees are issued with an iPad and relevant work programmes
\nFull UK driving licence (minimum 6 months post-test experience)

\nJob Description What Youll Be Doing
\nReporting to the Department Manager, you will support the Building Services team in delivering a diverse range of mechanical projects valued up to £1m. Projects span commercial, retail, public sector and government properties, including shopping centres, supermarkets, police stations and other secure facilities, some of which may require additional security clearance.
\nThis is a varied, hands-on role involving installation, maintenance, fault-finding, repair and upgrade works on commercial heating and plumbing systems. Duties may include servicing and replacing boilers, maintaining heating plant and plant room equipment, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, commissioning systems, and diagnosing faults to ensure minimal disruption to customers.
