Minibus Driver (Part-Time) Community TransportLocation: Southampton\n
Salary: £13'218.40 per year + overtime available\n
Working Pattern: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 08:30 11:00 and 14:30 17:00 (20 hours per week). Potential for additional hours.\n
The Role\n
\nWe are seeking a dependable and caring Minibus Driver to join our community transport team. You will provide an essential service supporting individuals to travel safely to and from our Day Centre Hubs (with a Transport Escort present).\n
\nThis is a highly rewarding role where you can make a real difference in peoples day-to-day lives.\n
Key Responsibilities\n

\n
• Drive adapted minibuses safely, ensuring passenger comfort at all times
\n
• Assist passengers from their homes to the vehicle and back
\n
• Conduct daily safety checks and report any faults
\n
• Maintain cleanliness and condition of the vehicle
\n
• Deliver excellent, friendly customer service
\n
• Report any health or wellbeing concerns regarding passengers
\n

\n
What Were Looking For\n

\n
• Full D1 or PCV driving licence (required)
\n
• Experience of driving larger vehicles
\n
• A caring, patient, and reliable approach
\n
• Confident communication skills
\n
• Ability to assist passengers with mobility needs
\n
• Knowledge of Southampton and surrounding areas (preferred)
\n

Additional requirements\n

• Right to work in the UK (We are unable to offer CoS)
\n
• Candidates must live within the local area
\n
• Willingness to undertake a DBS check
\n
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
\n
