Location: Berkshire

A leading UK manufacturer is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join its highly automated production facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking to work within a modern manufacturing environment with long-term career prospects.

As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, fault finding and continuous improvement activities across a range of production machinery and automated equipment.

The Role

\n
• Carry out mechanical maintenance, fault finding and breakdown repairs.
\n
• Complete PPMs on conveyors, mixers, kilns, hydraulics, pneumatics and automated machinery.
\n
• Undertake welding, fabrication and mechanical fitting work.
\n
• Support reliability, continuous improvement and plant performance projects.
\n
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with site procedures.
\n

Requirements

\n
• NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
\n
• Previous experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Fitter or Mechanical Technician.
\n
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and maintenance experience.
\n
• Manufacturing, FMCG, industrial or heavy engineering background.
\n
• Able to work Panama shifts.
\n
