Are you an experienced CNC Miller looking for a new role? This is a great opportunity to join a leading supplier of machined parts to global Aerospace OEMs and Tier 1 customers.

The Role:

\n

This role involves the set up and operation of CNC milling machines. Youll ensure the production of high-quality parts that meet industry standards and specifications. Responsibilities include:

  • Set up and operation of CNC Milling machines
  • \n
  • Installing workpieces, fixtures, and cutting tools
  • \n
  • Production of high-quality detail parts
  • \n
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
  • \n
  • Adherence to health and safety protocols
  • \n
  • Adherence to specifications and quality standards
  • \n
\n

The Candidate:

\n
    \n
  • Experienced CNC setter operator
  • \n
  • Knowledge of Heidenhain & Fanuc controls
  • \n
  • Ability to set work shifts including 4th axis and Trunions
  • \n
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings
  • \n
  • Ability to resolve common CNC machine issues (tooling problems, etc)
  • \n
  • Experience using measuring equipment
  • \n
  • Understanding of Geometric dimensions and tolerances
  • \n

The Benefits:

  • £20.40 per hour including shift allowance, £39,249.60 per year
  • \n
  • Monday to Thursday 6am 2pm, 2pm 10pm, Fridays 6am 11am, 11am 4pm
  • \n
  • Overtime at time and a half
