\nYoull join a fast-paced utilities contract at the heart of a large-scale water infrastructure programme, where your commercial input will directly support live delivery and help shape key decisions across multiple workstreams. This is a great opportunity to build broad commercial experience, work closely with operational and client teams, and play a visible role in delivering essential services for customers and communities.\n

What will you be doing?\n
    \n
  • Supporting the commercial management and administration of a live utilities contract, including cost reporting, forecasting and performance analysis
  • \n
  • Assessing and managing subcontractor accounts, ensuring accurate valuation and timely resolution of commercial issues
  • \n
  • Supporting the preparation and submission of applications for payment and client reporting
  • \n
  • Identifying value opportunities, cost efficiencies and opportunities to improve margin and commercial processes
  • \n
  • Working closely with operational teams to support delivery and ensure robust commercial control across the contract
  • \n
  • Clear career progression opportunities, with support to develop the role towards Senior Quantity Surveyor level
  • \n
What youll bring\n
    \n
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a Quantity Surveying role within utilities/infrastructure or similar environment
  • \n
  • Working knowledge of NEC contracts and general contract awareness
  • \n
  • Strong Excel skills and good understanding of cost reporting and forecasting
  • \n
  • Experience of subcontract management and commercial administration
  • \n
  • Strong communication and teamworking skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • \n
  • A tenacious, self-motivated approach, with the confidence to take ownership
  • \n
  • Good time management skills, with a proactive mindset and the ability to prioritise effectively and execute at pace
  • \n
