\nThis is an exciting opportunity to join a busy and supportive Environment Team, playing an important role in protecting wildlife and the environment across Conwy. Working closely with the Team Leader and Environment Officers, you will provide essential administrative support that helps the team deliver its regulatory and operational responsibilities.\n
\nYour work will include coordinating and collating regulatory compliance information, administering incident response rotas, and ensuring pool vehicles are maintained and available when needed. You will also support procurement processes to help ensure the team has the equipment and safety resources required to carry out its work effectively.\n
\nThe role offers excellent opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge, with support to gain experience in areas such as evidence collation, database administration and simple permit determination. You will also respond to routine customer enquiries and ensure more complex queries are directed to the appropriate specialist staff.\n

\nDriving is essential for this role as it involves maintaining pool vehicles.\n

What you will do\n
    \n
  • Support the integrated delivery of functions by the team and place including collation of complex regulatory compliance and enforcement information, coordination of responses and administration of incident response rotas.
  • \n
  • Hold or develop a knowledge in processes such as evidence collation, database administration or simple permit determinations that supports the delivery of work by the team or place.
  • \n
  • Respond to basic customer queries and ensure that more complex queries are recorded and passed on to relevant staff.
  • \n
  • Support and process procurement requests for the team or place to ensure appropriate equipment is available and maintained in line with procedures.
  • \n
  • Undertake health and safety duties and responsibilities appropriate to the post
  • \n
