Trainee Heavy Vehicle Technical Trainer - HGV Technician

This is a trainee Heavy Vehicle Technical Trainer post for a qualified and experienced HGV Technician looking to move into a training. No teaching experience is required for this post and full teacher training and support is provided.

Are you a fully qualified and time served HGV Technician? Could you be interested in a Heavy Vehicle Technical Trainer position? Balance Education is currently working with a client based in Manchester that is looking for a Technical Trainer to teach technical upskilling short courses to experienced technicians in the industry. Our client is willing to take on a qualified HGV Technician with main dealership industry experience and support them with teacher training. Our client is a specialist automotive training provider and premium brand manufacturer.

Essential experience and qualifications:-

- A Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle.

- Experience as an HGV Technician in the industry.

- A keen interest to work in education.

- Main Dealer Experience

- Technically Qualified

Job Description:-

Monday to Friday

Permanent - Full-time

Provide technical training to experienced technicians from the industry in both workshop and classroom environments. Curriculum, facilities and lesson planning is provided. You will be using your knowledge and experience to present and demonstrate topics and will be encouraged to share your industry experiences to give real world industry context.
