Nurse - Complex Care

MedGen Healthcareis seeking highly skilled, compassionateComplex Care Nursesto deliver advanced, high-quality clinical support to individuals with significant and long-term health needs within the community.

This role focuses on supporting patients withhigh-acuity, complex conditionsto remain safely in their own homes. You will play a critical role in delivering specialist interventions, promoting clinical stability, and enhancing quality of life through expert, person-centred care.

The Role

As an RGN specialising in complex homecare, you will deliveradvanced nursing interventionsand take responsibility for the ongoing clinical assessment and management of patients with multifaceted healthcare needs.

You will:

• Deliverhigh-quality, person-centred nursing carewithin the patients home environment.
\n
• Independently manage and delivercomplex clinical interventions, including but not limited to:
\n
\n
• Tracheostomy care, suctioning, and airway management
\n
• Ventilation support (invasive and non-invasive)
\n
• Bowel management
\n
• Enteral feeding (PEG, PEJ, NG) and nutritional management
\n
• Complex catheterisation and bowel care
\n
• Advanced wound care and pressure ulcer management
\n
• Stoma care and management of associated complications
\n
• Medication administration, including IV therapies and controlled drugs
\n
• Oxygen therapy and respiratory monitoring
\n
• Seizure recognition and emergency management
\n
\n
• Undertakecomprehensive clinical assessments, monitoring and interpreting vital signs and patient condition.
\n
• Recognise and respond appropriately toclinical deterioration and emergencies.
\n
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and carers to ensure continuity of care.
\n
• Maintainaccurate, detailed clinical documentationin line with CQC and NMC standards.
\n

Requirements

\n
• Active NMC Pin (RGN)
\n
• Minimum 6 monthsUK experience complex care nursing.
\n
• Demonstrable competency incomplex clinical skills(e.g. tracheostomy, ventilation, PEG feeding)
\n
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
\n
• Practical Manual Handling & Basic Life Support certification
\n
• Full UK Drivers Licence(preferred but not essential)
\n
