\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing and forward-thinking accountancy and business advisory firm. Working as part of a collaborative Accounts & Business Advisory team, the successful candidate will manage a varied portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality accounting, compliance and advisory services while building strong, trusted client relationships.

\nKey Responsibilities:
\nManage a portfolio of clients, acting as a key point of contact throughout the year.
\nPrepare and review statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies and groups.
\nPrepare management accounts and VAT returns for a range of clients.
\nSupport clients with accounting and tax compliance while ensuring work is delivered accurately and on time.
\nBuild strong client relationships and identify opportunities to add value through additional services.
\nPromote cloud accounting solutions and support clients with digital accounting processes.
\nWork closely with managers on planning assignments, meeting deadlines and delivering excellent client service.
\nResearch and apply relevant accounting standards and legislation to provide practical solutions.
\nAbout the Candidate:
\nACA, ACCA or ICAS qualified.
\nAt least three years' experience within an accountancy practice.
\nStrong knowledge of UK GAAP, Companies Act requirements and FRS 102, FRS 102 1A and FRS 105.
\nExperience using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
\nExcellent communication, organisational and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
\nA proactive, client-focused approach and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
\nWhat's on Offer:
\nCompetitive salary - £38,000-£45,000 DOE
