Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Cambridge

Youll carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across commercial estates, ensuring systems are safe, compliant and operating efficiently. Youll represent the business professionally on client sites, delivering a reliable, first-time-fix service wherever possible.

Key responsibilities include:

• PPM and reactive electrical maintenance across commercial buildings
\n
• Fault-finding on electrical systems, distribution boards, 3-phase equipment and building services plant
\n
• Minor installations, repairs and remedials
\n
• Emergency lighting testing and repairs
\n
• Fire alarm checks and basic support
\n
• Supporting wider building services (HVAC electrics, motors, controls)
\n
• Completing job sheets and updates
\n
• Working within RAMS, SFG20 and Permit-to-Work requirements
\n
• Participating in the call-out rota
\n

What You Need

\n
• NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical (Installation or Maintenance)
\n
• 18th Edition (BS 7671)
\n
• 2391-52 desirable (not essential)
\n
• Strong commercial or industrial background (not domestic)
\n
• Confident with 3-phase systems, distribution boards, containment and plant-room environments
\n
• Solid fault-finding ability
\n
• Full UK driving licence
\n
• Comfortable working independently across a mobile patch
\n
