Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer | Dundee | Permanent | circa £40k - £45k
\n We're working with a global manufacturing business that supplies into a range of highly regulated sectors, delivering precision-engineered products used worldwide. They're now looking to add a Quality Engineer to their Dundee site to support product quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
The Role
\n As a Quality Engineer, you'll:

\n
• Oversee product and process quality across manufacturing, suppliers, and customers.
\n
• Carry out inspections, audits, and compliance checks in line with ISO9001/AS standards.
\n
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective/preventive action activities.
\n
• Support New Product Introduction projects, ensuring quality is built into processes.
\n
• Analyse quality data and identify opportunities for improvement.
\n
• Liaise with suppliers and customers to resolve quality concerns.
\n

About You

\n
• Background in Quality Engineering or Assurance within a manufacturing environment.
\n
• Strong understanding of ISO9001 (knowledge of AS9100 desirable).
\n
• Skilled in root cause analysis, CAPA, and quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, and MSA.
\n
• Excellent communication and problem-solving ability.
\n
• Ideally qualified in Six Sigma/Lean or as an Internal Auditor.
\n
