C&I Technician

Working on behalf of our client based on Isle of Grain. We are currently recruiting for a C&I Technician on a contract basis.\n
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with a strong background in control and instrumentation within an industrial or process environment.\n
Key Duties:\n
\n

\n
• Carry out fault finding and rectification on electrical equipment
\n
• Perform breakdown repairs and reactive maintenance
\n
• Provide instrumentation support across site operations
\n
• Diagnose and troubleshoot control and instrumentation issues
\n
• Conduct calibration and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems in line with procedures
\n
• Complete both planned and reactive maintenance activities
\n
• Work on a range of industrial/process equipment including boilers, turbines, switchgear, VFDs, pumps, motors, drives, conveyors, and control systems
\n
• Liaise effectively with internal teams and external contractors
\n
• Support technical input for proposals and tenders where required
\n

What we are looking for in the successful candidate:\n
\n

\n
• Full, clean UK driving licence
\n
• Time-served apprenticeship with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
\n
• HNC/HND (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline
\n
• 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
\n
• Inspection & Testing (2391) certification
\n
• CompEx certification (EX01EX04)
\n
• Good IT skills
\n
• Strong team player with the ability to meet deadlines and communicate progress effectively
\n

• £45 per hour
\n
• 7:30am to 4pm Monday to Friday (Potential Overtime Available)
\n
• 1 month project
\n
