\nShifts Available: Sunday to Thursday, Tuesday to Saturday or Monday to Friday\n
\nHours: 6:00am 2:00pm | 2:00pm 10:00pm | 10:00pm 6:00am\n

\nQuest Employment is currently looking for experienced Shunters Drivers to join a busy and well-established logistics operation in Derby.\n
\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with previous yard, logistics or transport experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. You'll play a key role in keeping the site running efficiently by safely moving trailers around the yard and ensuring they are positioned for loading and unloading.\n
\nThe Role\n
\nAs a Yard Shunter, your responsibilities will include:\n
\n Safely moving trailers between designated yard locations and loading bays\n
\n Positioning trailers accurately for loading and unloading operations\n
\n Carrying out routine vehicle and equipment safety checks\n
\n Monitoring trailer movements and maintaining an organized yard\n
\n Communicating effectively with warehouse and transport teams\n
\n Reporting defects, hazards, or operational issues promptly\n
\n Maintaining high standards of housekeeping across the yard\n
\n Following all Health & Safety procedures and site regulations at all times\n
\nWhat We're Looking For\n
\n Previous experience in a yard, transport, or logistics environment\n
\n Good awareness of Health & Safety procedures\n
\n Ability to work independently and as part of a team\n
\n Reliable, punctual, and hardworking\n
\n Flexible approach with a positive attitude\n
\nPlease note: Due to the remote location and limited public transport links, your own transport is highly desirable.\n
\nPay & Benefits\n
\n Day Shift: £15.04 per hour\n
\n PM Shift: £15.04per hour (2:00pm 8:00pm) and £18.20per hour (8:00pm 10:00pm)\n
\n Night Shift: £18.20 per hour\n
\n Weekly pay\n

\nSuccessful candidates will complete their first two weeks of training at an alternative warehouse location before transferring to the main site in Derby.\n
