Job Title: Qualified Roofer
Location: Abingdon
Our Client, a well-established construction company on the outskirts of Abingdon, is hiring for a dedicated Roofer to join their team. This full-time role offers a Monday to Friday schedule, working between 7:30am and 4:00pm. Depending on experience, the annual salary ranges from £35,000 to £37,000.
What you'll be doing:
\n * Repairing, maintaining, and constructing roofs on commercial and residential buildings
\n * Working with various materials such as slate, concrete, and tiles
\n * Installing solar panels and insulation systems
\n * Filling leaks with cement or other suitable materials
\n * Thatching or specialist repairs of older roofing materials
\n * Assessing weather damage and ensuring safety at height
\n * Restocking materials and preparing project timelines and budgets
\n * Following strict health and safety guidelines
What you'll bring:
\n * Valid driving licence and CSCS card if essential for this role
\n * Proven skills in roofing, including knowledge of different materials and techniques
\n * Ability to work safely at heights and adhere to health and safety standards
\n * Steadiness, patience, and a good eye for detail
\n * Experience working on both commercial and residential sites
