Team Leader - Step Into Store Leadership\n
\nWe're looking for Team Leaders to join our Rugby Food Convenience Stores (16 hours per week):\n
New Bilton, Rugby - CV21 2HS\n
Old Bilton, Rugby - CV22 7LY\n
\nThis is your opportunity to move beyond a standard retail role and take real ownership-leading a team, driving performance, and building the skills to progress into Store Management.\n
What You'll Be Doing\n
\nAs a Team Leader, you'll take responsibility for key areas of the store and step up to run the operation in the absence of the Store Manager.\n
\nYou'll:\n

\n
• Lead, coach and develop your team to deliver strong performance
\n
• Take ownership of shifts, including opening and closing the store
\n
• Drive excellent customer service and make us the go-to store in the community
\n
• Support recruitment, training and onboarding of new colleagues
\n
• Manage performance, attendance and team engagement
\n
• Control key commercial areas including waste, stock and labour
\n
• Maintain high standards across availability, merchandising and compliance
\n

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be expected to lead from the front and make decisions that impact the store's success.\n
About You\n

• Experience in retail or a fast-paced customer environment
\n
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience (or ready to step up)
\n
• Commercial awareness and confidence working towards targets
\n
• A natural motivator who can get the best out of people
\n
• Organised, resilient and comfortable taking ownership
\n
