  • Tocompetentlyidentifythenatureofaninfestationandthemostappropriatetreatment/managementtechniques.Thisdecisionshouldbebasedonknowledgegainedthroughformaltraining,legislativerestrictions,speciesspecificbiology,environmentalprotectionconsiderationsandsitedata.

  • Tocarryouttreatmentsandmanagementtechniquesforinfestationsincludingtraps,culls,deterrents,pesticidesandbiocidessafelyandhumanely,inlinewithTheBritishPestControlAssociation(BPCA)CodeofPractice.

  • Tosurveyproperties,internallyandexternally,includingdrains,,withtechnicaldrawingswhereapplicable

  • Tocarryoutproofingworktocontrolandpreventinfestations,ensuringmaterialsandtechniquesusedareinlinewithhousingfiresafetyguidanceandConstruction(DesignandManagement)Regulations2015.

  • Toassistintheorganisation,andperformtheexecutionofpigeonproofingmeasures,includingthecleansingandremovingofpigeonmatterasandwhenrequired.

ThesuccessfulcandidatemustpossessthequalificationofaRSPHPestControlTechniciantoaminimum standardofLevel2.ThesuccessfulcandidatemustbeinthepossessionofavalidUKdrivinglicense.

KnowledgeofthegeographyoftheLondonBoroughofSouthwarkisadvantageous.
