Class 2 (Category C) Drivers - Temp to Perm
\n Barker Ross is recruiting Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity with a leading national distribution company based in Harlow.
\n This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced and newly qualified Class 2 drivers looking to build a long-term career with a well-established business.
Shift Pattern

\n
• Tuesday to Saturday
\n
• Start times between 5:00am and 7:00am
\n
• Temp-to-perm opportunity
\n
• Permanent contract offered after 12 weeks
\n

The Role
\n You will be responsible for delivering products to a range of commercial customers, including:
\n Hospitals
\n Retail stores
\n Convenience stores
\n Other business premises
\n There are two types of delivery routes available:

Multi-Drop Cage Deliveries

\n
• 10 to 18 deliveries per day
\n
• Deliveries typically within approximately one hour of the depot
\n
• Deliveries made using cages
\n

Bulk Pallet Deliveries

\n
• 3 to 6 deliveries per day
\n
• Palletised deliveries
\n
• Delivery distances vary depending on the route
\n

Vehicles
\n Drivers will operate modern DAF and Mercedes vehicles.
Requirements

\n
• Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
\n
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
\n
• Digital Tachograph Card
\n
• Good customer service skills
\n
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
\n
• Newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply
\n
• A driving assessment must be successfully completed before induction
\n
