Are you a skilled CNC Machinist looking to develop your career within a precision aerospace manufacturing environment?
\nWe are looking for a hands-on CNC Machinist to join a growing engineering team producing high-quality precision components for the aerospace industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a CNC Machinist with experience in turning, milling, setting or operating CNC machinery who is keen to learn a specialist machining process and develop long-term career prospects.
\nPrevious grinding experience is not required. Full training on Centreless Grinding will be provided. If you're a capable CNC Machinist with strong engineering fundamentals, we'd like to hear from you.
The Role\nAs a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for manufacturing precision-engineered components while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and accuracy.
\nDuties will include:

- Setting and operating CNC machinery. \n
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings. \n
- Working to tight tolerances. \n
- Using micrometers and precision measuring equipment. \n
- Carrying out first-off and in-process inspections. \n
- Producing high-quality components to customer specifications. \n
- Working with a range of materials including aluminium, stainless steel and specialist alloys. \n
- Receiving training and development on Centreless Grinding equipment. \n
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining quality standards. \n

- Experience as a CNC Machinist, CNC Turner, CNC Miller or CNC Setter Operator. \n
- Ability to read engineering drawings. \n
- Experience using micrometers and measuring equipment. \n
- Experience working to tight tolerances. \n
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards. \n
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills. \n
- \n
- Aerospace, defence, medical, motorsport or precision engineering background. \n
- Experience machining aluminium, stainless steel, titanium or Inconel. \n
- Previous grinding experience. \n
- \n
- Full training in Centreless Grinding. \n

- Monday to Thursday, 06:45am to 4:30pm. \n
