HGV Class 1 Driver

SR Drivers are recruiting experiencedHGV Class 1 (C+E) Driversfor a well-established logistics company based inCoventry (CV5).This role is ideal for drivers who want simple, consistenttrunking workwith early morning starts and no handball.

Responsibilities

\n
• Trunking Trailer drop and Swaps
\n
• Work Monday to Friday Days
\n
• Starting from 04:30am onwards
\n
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays
\n
• Adhere to all legal requirements for commercial driving, including hours of service regulations
\n
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times during operations
\n

Qualifications

\n
• Valid UK driving licence suitable for heavy goods vehicles (HGV) C+E
\n
• MUST have2 years HGV Class 1 experience
\n
• Demonstrable knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving
\n
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritise deliveries
\n
• Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude towards clients and colleagues
\n
• Ability to work independently and responsibly in a fast-paced environment
\n

What Youll get
