Salary: £65,000 to £80,000 basic + bonus + benefits\n

You must have a background in the Automotive sector with experience of CAN bus.\n
\n This is an excellent opportunity to join an innovative engineering business where you'll spend around 70% of your time designing electronics, whilst providing technical leadership/Management and project oversight for a team of four experienced Electronics Engineers.\n
\n Rather than micromanaging the team, you'll be responsible for driving projects forward, ensuring delivery against key milestones, supporting technical decision-making and helping shape the future direction of the electronics function.\n
The Role - Hands-on Electronic Manager - Automotive\n
\n You'll lead the electronics engineering team whilst remaining heavily involved in the design and development of new products.\n
Your responsibilities will include:\n
\n

\n
• Leading and mentoring a team of four experienced Electronics Engineers.
\n
• Remaining hands-on with the design and development of electronic hardware.
\n
• Managing multiple development projects, ensuring deadlines and project milestones are achieved.
\n
• Designing a broad range of electronic circuits, with a strong emphasis on power electronics.
\n
• Working across analogue and digital electronic design.
\n
• Providing technical leadership throughout the full product development lifecycle
\n
• processes and design methodologies.
\n

The Role - Hands-on Electronic Manager - Automotive\n
\n We're looking for an experienced Electronics Engineer with both strong technical capability and proven leadership experience.\n
You'll have:\n
\n

\n
• Proven experience leading or managing an electronics engineering team
\n
• A broad background in electronic hardware design
\n
• Strong experience in power electronics (DC-DC converters, power supplies, LED drivers or similar)
\n
• Experience across analogue and digital circuit design
\n
• Experience managing engineering projects and coordinating multiple workstreams
\n
• Automotive electronics experience
\n
• CAN Bus knowledge
\n
