Class 2 Refuse Driver

Driver Hire Stockport are currently recruiting for a HGV Refuse Driver to join our team.This role involves operating a bin lorry and working as part of a crew to carry out local waste collection services based in Hyde.\n
Key Responsibilities:\n

\n
• Driving a refuse collection vehicle safely and efficiently
\n
• Working alongside loaders to complete daily routes
\n
• Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects
\n
• Ensuring all collections are completed in line with schedules
\n
• Maintaining a high standard of health & safety at all times
\n

Requirements:\n

\n
• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
\n
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
\n
• Previous experience in refuse or similar driving work is preferred
\n
• Good communication and teamwork skills
\n
• Reliable and punctual
\n

Hours & Pay:\n

\n
• Start time: 07:00 AM.
\n
• Monday to Friday (occasional weekends may be required & Bank holidays)
\n
• Starts at £15.20 per hour. Once you hit AWR your hourly rate will increase to £16.20ph
\n
