Pin Point Recruitment are currently seeking a Class 1 (C+E) Driver / Yard Operative to join a well-established food manufacturing business. This is a varied role offering a balance between driving and on-site yard duties, ideal for candidates who do not want to be on the road full-time.

The Role

\n
• Driving Class 1 vehicles for deliveries and collections
\n
• Supporting operations within the yard when not driving
\n
• Loading and unloading vehicles
\n
• General yard duties as required
\n
• Operating a forklift truck (full in-house training will be provided)
\n

Working Hours

\n
• Variable hours contract with a minimum of 40 hours per week
\n
• Drivers are currently working around 4854 hours per week, depending on workload
\n
• Hours and days will fit in with the needs of the business
\n
• Weekend work will be required
\n
• Day work only no overnight stays
\n
• When out driving, you can expect to be off-site for 810 hours
\n

Requirements

\n
• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
\n
• No more than 6 penalty points
\n
• Flexible and reliable approach to work
\n
• Willingness to undertake both driving and yard-based duties
\n
• Positive attitude and team player
\n
