The Role:\n

HireGiant are looking for a reliable and professional HGV 2 Driver to work with our client based in Leicester. This is an ongoing role leading to a permanent opportunity for the right driver. You will be doing 8-10 deliveries per day, delivering boxed meat to Butchers and Pubs across Leicester.

Your responsibilities as a HGV 2 driver will include:

\n

\n
• \n

  Completing deliveries to pubs and butchers

\n
• \n

  Driving the class 2 curtainside trailer in a safe manor

\n
• \n

  Responsible of handball of all meat deliveries either hanging meat or in boxes

\n
• \n

  Ensuring all paperwork and PODs are completed accurately

\n
• \n

  Maintaining excellent customer service standards as this is a customer facing role.

\n

\n
\nRequirements for the Class 2 driver:\n

\n
• \n

  Valid HGV 2 licence

\n
• \n

  Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card

\n
• \n

  Strapping and Reversing competence

\n
• \n

  New pass HGV 2 Drivers welcome training and support provided

\n

\n
\nHours & Pay for the Class 2 LGV Driver:\n

\n
• \n

  Start time 05:00am - 07:00am

\n
• \n

  Shifts: 8-10 hours depending on route

\n
• \n

  PAYE Pay rate: £16.00 - £17.00 P/H

\n
