ElectroMechanical Engineer (Days)
\nWere working with a large manufacturing business which operates 24/7 that is actively seeking to add an experienced ElectroMechanical Engineer to its Manufacturing Engineering Support teams.
\nLocation: Near St Austell
\nSalary: £37,500 plus overtime
\nShifts - 42 hours per week average across 3-4 shifts
\nWorking Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for 4 weeks, then rotating to Thursday, Friday, Saturday for 4 weeks and every other Sunday day shift on rotation
\n6.00am-18.00pm with a 1 hour paid break
\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for day to day running, repairs and maintenance of all production related equipment, including breakdown repairs and continuous improvement project/task work, ordering of spares and general site facility tasks.
\nTo be successful, we would like you to have:
\n- \n
- Relevant training or have served an apprenticeship \n
- A recognised industrial Electrical qualification. As well as training and qualification to IEE 18th/19th edition preferred. \n
- Experience working on drives and PCBs.Specific training where required will be provided, OEM suppliers and via remote modem diagnostic support from the OEM. \n
- Ability to work solo as an Electromechanical Engineer diagnosing, repairing and performing servicing tasks which are both electrical and mechanical. \n
- Competent to operate a /TIG welding skills preferable although not essential. \n
- Have experience working as an Industrial Electrical Mechanical or Multiskilled Engineer (or similar) within Industrial, Manufacturing or Automation. \n
- Any experience in the printing or packaging industry would be beneficial but not essential. \n
- Experience with maintenance programmes within a large scale manufacturing environment. \n
- Have excellent communication, organisational and team work skills \n
- Self-motivation, ability to apply initiative and determination \n
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills are essential. \n
