About the HGV 1 Driver role:

• Various Shifts available including full time, part time, weekends, ad-hoc days - Just let us know what you are looking for!!

• Work available across 7 days, with start various start times from 3am
\n
• Pay Rates\n
  \n
  • £22ph - Mon to Fri, between 06:00 - 22:00
  \n
  • £24ph - Mon to Fri, between 22:00 - 06:00
  \n
  • £30ph - Saturday, between 00:00 - 23:59
  \n
  • £34ph - Sunday & Bank Holidays, between 00:00 - 23:59
  \n

• If you are looking for full time work we can guarantee 5 shifts per week (subject to signing up to a weekly shift pattern).
\n

Duties for the HGV 1 Driver Role:

\n
• Delivering chilled, ambient and frozen foods across the South West
\n
• Store deliveries 2/3 drops per day
\n
• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule
\n
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards
\n
• Secure cargo properly using appropriate methods and equipment
\n
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
\n
• Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and health and safety regulations during operations
\n

Skills / Experience required for HGV 1 Driver Role:

\n
• Minimum 6 months experience but will accept newly qualified drivers for temp to perm positions
\n
• Full valid CE Licence, Digi Card & Drivers CPC Card
\n
• Maximum 6 points for minor offences (No DR's, DD's etc)
\n
• A goood understanding of Driver's Hours & Working Time Directive
\n
• Ability to operate vehicles safely under various weather conditions
\n
• Good communication skills for liaising with customers and team members
\n
