Job Description
A leading UK civil engineering and infrastructure contractor is seeking an experienced MEICA Project Manager to provide expert leadership and deliver MEICA projects from inception through to completion.
\nResponsibilities of MEICA Project Manager:
\n- \n
- Manage and deliver MEICA projects safely, to specification, on programme and within budget \n
- Lead NEC contract administration including early warnings, compensation events, and cost control \n
- Manage and report on operational and financial targets, programme management, and supply chain performance \n
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle \n
- Lead and promote a positive safety culture with a zero-tolerance approach to unsafe practices \n
- Coordinate with designers, subcontractors, and internal teams to manage technical and delivery interfaces \n
- Identify, manage, and resolve risks, tracking costs and benefits and providing reports as required \n
- Support continuous improvement by capturing and embedding lessons learned \n
- Build and sustain capacity and capability within the project team \n
Essential Requirements:
\n- \n
- Proven experience as a MEICA Project Manager delivering projects of varying complexity \n
- Strong knowledge of NEC contract administration and requirements \n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills \n
- Strong leadership qualities with a methodical, detail-oriented approach \n
- Ability to manage a varied workload and work effectively under pressure \n
Desirable:
\n- \n
- Degree, HND, or HNC in a relevant discipline \n
- 10+ years' experience managing multiple MEICA projects \n
- Member of APM or equivalent professional body \n
- SMSTS qualification and CSCS card \n
- First Aid qualification \n
