Taxi Dispatch Operator

A.J's Taxis is seeking a part-time weekend operator to join our team. Other shifts available when cover is needed for sickness and holidays. This position will be responsible for answering the phone, the handling of all incoming calls and dealing with members of the public and the drivers. The position will be responsible for entering data into the computer system and dispatching the Taxis along with maintaining confidentiality of all sensitive information.

Duties and Responsibilities are to answer the phone in a timely manner and record all information into the computer system accurately then dispatching the jobs to the drivers and to perform other duties as assigned

Experience

• Good local knowledge preferred, but not essential, as full training will be given

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Ability to work under pressure

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high levels of attention to detail and accuracy
