HGV 2 Driver - Newly passed welcome to apply

Drivers Direct Recruitment are looking to recruit a HGV 2 multidrop driver for our client in Sheffield.

Newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply!!!

Hours of work:

\n
• Days 0500/0600 start
\n
• 1400/1500 finish daily
\n
• Monday to Friday with alternate Saturdays
\n

Pay:

\n
• £14.27 p/h plus £1.73 p/h in accrued holiday pay ( Total inclusive of holiday pay £16.00 p/h) This can be included in weekly holiday pay!
\n
• Saturdays = £17.00 (£15.16 + £1.84 in accrued holiday pay) This can be included in weekly holiday pay!
\n

The Role:

\n
• Cage and palletised deliveries on a regular route.
\n
• Tail Lift
\n
• Minimal handball may be required on some jobs
\n
• Up to 10 drops
\n

Duties/Responsibilities:

\n
• Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures.
\n
• Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures.
\n
• To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner.
\n
• To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift.
\n

Essential Skills:

\n
• Must hold a valid HGV 2 / Cat C licence.
\n
• Must hold a valid driver qualification (CPC) card and valid Digital tacho card.
\n
• Good communication skills.
\n
• Good customer relations.
\n
• Have a safe driving record with no more than 6 minor penalty points due to insurance stipulations.
\n
• No DRs, INs or DDs offence codes due to insurance stipulations.
\n
