We are looking for an experienced CNC Turner to join our manufacturing team, producing high-precision components in a modern engineering environment.

\nYou will be responsible for setting, operating and improving CNC turning processes, working from detailed engineering drawings and specifications to produce components to exacting standards.

- Setting up and operating CNC turning machines \n
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications and tolerances \n
- Using CAD files and software to support programme development and adjustments \n
- Carrying out machining operations including turning, grinding, milling and finishing processes \n
- Selecting and setting appropriate tooling to achieve accurate results \n
- Performing routine machine checks, maintenance and inspections \n
- Using hand tools and measuring equipment to ensure components meet required standards \n
- Supporting assembly activities and working with metal and plastic components \n
- Troubleshooting machining and mechanical issues using practical engineering knowledge \n
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment \n

- Proven experience operating and setting CNC turning machines \n
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings \n
- Experience working with CAD software (SolidWorks would be advantageous) \n
- Knowledge of machining processes, tooling and measurement techniques \n
- Experience with grinding, milling or welding would be beneficial \n
- Strong mechanical understanding and problem-solving skills \n
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work \n
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to the wider engineering team \n
