Job Description
An opportunity for a Production MIG Welder within a well-established fabrication and sheetmetal company in Nelson, Lancashire.
\nThe Company:
\nEstablished in 2003, this family run Group employs approximately 35 employees. Their teams provide an all-round design, laser, fold, and fabrication service to a broad customer base.
\nDue to continued growth and winning some long-term contracts they are looking for Production Welders to join a small friendly Fabrication team.
\nRole
\nPRODUCTION WELDER
\nMust have MIG manufacturing experience.
\nBe physically fit
\nHave experience of producing small and large fabrications to an accurate standard
\nAbility to lay out and mark dimensions and reference lines to a high standard
\nSafe use of power tools e.g., grinder, pistol drill, tapping drill
\nAbility to work to a production pace within a factory setting
\nThere may be some JIG work to help improve production efficiency
\nAbility to communicate, ask questions and discuss any issues which may cause production delays
\nUpdate computer records and complete timesheets
\nThey are looking for a helpful individual with experience in production welding.
\nWorking Hours:
\nMonday Thursday 8:00am - 16:30
\nFriday8:00am 14:00
\nOvertime Available.
\nStarting Rate £15-16 per hour
\n30 Days Leave (+1 After 5 years)
\nCompany Overalls/Contributory Pension Scheme/Laundry Service/Staff Days Out
