\nThe RoleWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Electronic Repair Technician / IT Hardware Engineer to join our growing team based in Milton Keynes. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual with strong diagnostic and repair skills who enjoys working on a variety of IT and electronic equipment.\n
\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and testing a range of hardware to component level, ensuring equipment is returned to full working order.\n
\nKey Responsibilities\n

\n
• Diagnose faults and repair electronic equipment to component level.
  
\n
• Repair and test a variety of devices including:
  \n
  \n
  • Monitors
    
  \n
  • PCs and computer hardware
    
  \n
  • Small printers
    
  \n
  • EPOS systems and tills
    
  \n
\n
• Conduct fault finding using appropriate testing equipment.
  
\n
• Replace faulty components and complete repairs to a high standard.
  
\n
• Install, configure and troubleshoot operating systems.
  
\n
• Maintain accurate repair records and documentation.
  
\n
• Ensure all repairs meet quality and safety standards.
  
\n
• Support colleagues and customers with technical queries where required.
  
\n

Skills & Experience Required\n

\n
• Proven experience in electronic fault finding and component-level repairs.
  
\n
• Experience repairing monitors, PCs, printers, tills, or similar electronic equipment.
  
\n
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and general IT hardware.
  
\n
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  
\n
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  
\n
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
\n
• Good communication skills.
  
\n

Desirable Skills\n

• Experience with EPOS equipment.
  
\n
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals.
  
\n
• Relevant electronics or IT qualifications.
  
\n
