5 axis setter operator CNC machining centre opportunity within this subcontract precision engineering company.

Key responsibilities
\n * Set and operate 5-axis machining centres (Mazak Integrex and/or DMG Mori experience desirable)
\n * Produce components to engineering drawings, specifications and tight tolerances
\n * Select and set tooling and workholding equipment
\n * Carry out in-process quality checks using standard measuring equipment
\n * Work with a range of materials.
\n * Complete basic machine alignments as required
\n * Comply with Health & Safety requirements at all times
\n * Maintain ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards throughout the process

Skills & experience
\n * Apprentice-trained or time-served engineer (City & Guilds or BTEC level preferred)
\n * Proven experience setting and operating 5-axis CNC mills or machining centres in a precision engineering environment
\n * Good understanding of control software.
\n * Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
\n * High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality
\n * Able to work independently with minimal supervision and contribute positively to a team
\n * Flexibility with working hours when required to meet customer deadlines
