Key Stage 2 Tutor
\n\nAbout the Role
\nWe're looking for enthusiastic and supportive Key Stage 2 Tutors to work with children across the BCP area, providing personalised 1:1 tuition to learners who require additional educational support.
\nWorking on behalf of Local Authorities, you'll support pupils who may be unable to access mainstream education full-time, have additional learning needs, or require a tailored approach to help them achieve their potential. Your focus will be on building confidence, developing key skills, and creating positive learning experiences that encourage progress.

- Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour \n
- Type: 1:1 Tuition \n
Requirements
\n- \n
- Minimum 6 months' experience in an educational setting, including tutoring, teaching, teaching assistant, mentoring, learning support, or similar roles \n
- Experience supporting primary-aged children \n
- Good knowledge of the KS2 curriculum \n
- Ability to adapt learning to meet individual needs \n
- Experience supporting children with SEND, EHCPs, or additional needs is desirable \n
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills \n
- Patient, nurturing, and engaging approach \n
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one \n
- Driver preferred; alternatively, willingness to travel within your local area \n

- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) \n
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs \n
- ADHD \n
- Anxiety and emotionally based school avoidance \n
- EHCPs and additional educational needs \n
The role is centred around helping young learners re-engage with education, develop their confidence, and make meaningful progress in a supportive environment.
