An established and growing financial planning firm is seeking an experienced Office Manager to lead and support a team of Administrators and Paraplanners within a busy and professional office environment.

The Opportunity

As Office Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day management of a client support and paraplanning function, ensuring the team delivers an efficient, high-quality service that enables advisers to focus on providing excellent financial planning solutions.

\n

You will play a key role in leadership, operational management, resource planning and continuous improvement, helping to create a collaborative and high-performing culture.

\n

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate and develop a team of Administrators and Paraplanners.
  • \n
  • Conduct regular one-to-one meetings, coaching sessions and performance reviews.
  • \n
  • Manage team workloads and capacity to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • \n
  • Monitor quality standards and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • \n
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and ongoing development of team members.
  • \n
  • Act as the first point of escalation for operational and team-related issues.
  • \n
  • Work closely with advisers and senior stakeholders to prioritise workloads and resources.
  • \n
  • Ensure all client work is completed accurately and in line with regulatory requirements.
  • \n
  • Track key performance metrics and provide updates to management.
  • \n
  • Support business projects, system enhancements and change initiatives.
  • \n
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • \n

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate is likely to have:

  • Experience managing administration and/or paraplanning teams within financial services.
  • \n
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • \n
  • Excellent organisational and workload management abilities.
  • \n
  • Experience supporting advisers and delivering high standards of client service.
  • \n
  • A good understanding of financial planning operations and support functions.
  • \n
  • Knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance requirements.
  • \n
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • \n
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • \n
  • Strong IT skills, with experience of financial services back-office systems advantageous.
  • \n
