Kickstart your career in credit operations with a 1-year fixed-term graduate role at a large organisation. This rotational position provides a 360-degree view of the business, giving you experience across multiple departments and the full customer journey, from initial contract changes to complex financial resolutions. You will play a key role in ensuring positive outcomes for customers, acting with integrity and putting their needs at the heart of everything you do.

  • Deliver good outcomes for retail customers, ensuring products and services provide fit-for-purpose value.

  • Identify and support customers in vulnerable circumstances, adapting your approach to their needs.
  • \n
  • Manage customer and retailer issues through to resolution, removing friction points in the user journey.
  • \n
  • Execute in-life contract changes, including early settlements, maturities, refinancing, and refunds.
  • \n
  • Resolve customer and retailer inquiries with a focus on first-contact resolution.
  • \n
  • Liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure data accuracy and timely payment allocations.
  • \n
  • Conduct professional outbound calls and manage correspondence to maintain strong relationships.
  • \n
  • Proactively manage work queues and escalate potential backlogs to meet departmental KPIs.
  • \n
  • Contribute to business projects to identify and implement service improvements.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the business to maximise customer satisfaction.
  • \n
About You\n
    \n
  • Recent graduate with a 2:1 BA/BSc degree, ideally in Business, though other numerate disciplines are welcome.
  • \n
  • Previous experience in finance or consumer operations is desirable.
  • \n
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel and Word; experience with workflow or process management tools is a plus.
  • \n
  • Strong communicator, resilient under pressure, and able to balance empathy with assertiveness.
  • \n
  • Analytical mindset with great attention to detail.
  • \n
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • \n
  • Confident negotiator with strong objection-handling skills.
