As a Production Operator, you will play a key role in the assembly and manufacture of specialist electrical and optical cable assemblies, ensuring all products are built to the highest quality standards.

• Build and assemble specialist electrical and optical cable assemblies and wiring looms.
\n
• Carry out soldering, crimping, stripping, and cable termination to a high standard.
\n
• Read and interpret technical drawings, assembly instructions, and customer specifications.
\n
• Perform quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to ensure products meet exact specifications.
\n
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
\n
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and product quality.
\n

The successful candidate will ideally have:

\n
• Experience producing electrical or optical cable harnesses.
\n
• Confidence using hand tools and working on precision assemblies.
\n
• The ability to read and work from technical and customer drawings.
\n
• Experience with soldering, crimping terminals, optical terminations, and wire harness assembly.
\n
• The ability to follow detailed work instructions and production processes.
\n
• Experience working to IPC standards would be advantageous, although full training can be provided.
\n
• Experience using a variety of production equipment and tooling.
\n
• A proactive approach to maintaining tools and keeping an organised workspace.
\n
• A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on quality and efficiency.
