\n\nJob Role & Key Responsibilities:\n
\n
We are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias Preferred) to join a highly automated manufacturing environment operating a 24/7 production facility. Working a rotating days and nights shift pattern, you will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and continuous improvement activities to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.

Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across automated production equipment.
\n - \n
Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
\n - \n
Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
\n - \n
Work safely in line with health & safety, food safety and GMP standards.
\n - \n
Record maintenance activities using a CMMS.
\n - \n
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure efficient plant performance.
\n
\nThe Ideal Candidate will have:\n
\n
- \n
- \n
A recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent).
\n - \n
At least 3 years' maintenance engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
\n - \n
Strong electrical fault-finding skills with mechanical maintenance knowledge.
\n - \n
Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on automated equipment.
\n - \n
Exposure to PLC-controlled machinery and fault finding.
\n - \n
Ability to work independently and within a fast-paced shift environment.
\n
\nDesirable Skills:\n
\n

- \n
Experience within Food Manufacturing, FMCG, Beverage, Packaging, Pharmaceutical or other automated production environments.
\n - \n
Knowledge of SAP, SCADA, LOTO, GMP and Food Safety.
\n - \n
Experience with Root Cause Analysis, Permit to Work systems and contractor management.
\n - \n
Experience working on conveyors, packaging machinery, motors, pumps, valves, pneumatic, hydraulics, VSDs and PLC-controlled equipment.
\n - \n
Ex-Forces engineers with strong maintenance and fault-finding experience are encouraged to apply.
