Speech and Language Therapist - Amersham

\nWe are currently recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded specialist school in Amersham for a Speech and Language Therapist to join their multidisciplinary team from September 2026.
\nThis is an exciting opportunity for a Speech and Language Therapist to work within a collaborative educational setting in Amersham, supporting neurodiverse children and young people with Autism, speech, language and communication needs, and complex learning difficulties.
\nWorking closely with teachers, families and other professionals, the Speech and Language Therapist will deliver universal, targeted and specialist interventions, helping pupils develop the communication skills needed to thrive both academically and socially.
\nSalary: Competitive, dependent on experience
\nHours: Full Time (Part Time Considered)
\nLocation: Amersham
\nContract: Permanent
\nStart Date: September 2026
\nAbout the Role
\nAs a Speech and Language Therapist in Amersham, your responsibilities will include:

- Delivering individual and group Speech and Language Therapy interventions \n
- Supporting whole-school communication strategies \n
- Completing assessments and contributing to EHCP reviews \n
- Working collaboratively with education staff, families and external agencies \n
- Providing advice and training to school staff \n

About You
\nWe welcome applications from newly qualified and experienced Speech and Language Therapists seeking their next opportunity in Amersham.
\nThe successful candidate will:

- Hold a recognised Speech and Language Therapy qualification \n
- Be HCPC registered (or eligible) \n
- Have a passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs \n
- Enjoy working as part of a collaborative team \n
Previous experience within SEND, Autism or specialist education is advantageous but not essential.
