Ultimate Recruitment is currently looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our professional team based in Skelmersdale.

\n

This is a store delivery role that involves manual handling, so applicants must be physically fit and comfortable loading and unloading cages and goods throughout the day. If you're looking for a driving-only position, this role will not be suitable.

Job Details

\n
• Monday to Friday day shifts, starting between 03:00 and 07:00
\n
• Weekend shifts available
\n
• 4 on / 4 off or 5 on / 3 off shift patterns (including weekends)
\n
• Store deliveries to retail locations
\n
• Regular manual loading and unloading required
\n
• Full-day driving assessment before starting
\n
• Full-time hours available
\n
• Temp to Perm opportunity
\n

Requirements

\n

\n
• Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Driving Licence
\n
• Minimum 1 year's HGV Class 1 driving experience
\n
• Previous store delivery experience is essential
\n
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual loading and unloading throughout the shift
\n
• Aged 25 or over (insurance requirement)
\n
• Maximum of 6 penalty points
\n
• No IN, DR, or DD endorsement codes
\n

Pay Rates

\n

\n
• Days (04:0016:00): £18.50 per hour (£20.72 including holiday pay)
\n
• Nights (16:0004:00): £19.50 per hour (£21.86 including holiday pay)
\n
• Saturday: £20.50 per hour (£22.98 including holiday pay)
\n
• Sunday: £21.50 per hour (£24.10 including holiday pay)
\n
