HGV Class 1 Driver Temp to Perm

Driving Force Recruitment operating as an employment business are offering an excellent opportunity for HGV 1 Drivers to work for our award-winning client based in Magor (NP26) on a temp to perm contract.

Shift Pattern:

Monday Friday Days

Start times between 03:00 am 06:00 am

Temp to perm/guaranteed shifts

Weekend overtime available

PAYE Rates:

Weekday days £16.50

Weekday nights £19.25

Saturday Day £21.00

Saturday Night £22.34

Sunday Day £22.34

Sunday Night £23.50

** Holidays will be accrued on shift basis and paid when you take holiday - we do not include holiday pay in your hourly rate **

Hours: approximately 10-14 hours per shift

Your responsibilities as a Class 1 Driver:

Delivering goods to depots, operating palletised handling equipment, such as pump trucks.

Ensuring all cargo is safely secured and strapped.

Opening and closing the heavy side curtains and releasing or tightening the load straps.

Operating refrigerated vehicles, completing between 1-3 deliveries per day.

The right candidate will have an enthusiastic attitude and be reliable with a commitment to delivering 1st class customer service.

Class 1 Driver - About you:

• HGV 1 C+E licence, Digital tacho & DQC card
\n
• Minimum 6 months experience
\n
• No more than 6 points. No DR, DD, CD, IN10's
\n
• Must have excellent communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work.

• Good Geographical Knowledge
