Practice Accountant

Full or part time opportunity available for a qualified or part qualified accountant with this successful accountancy practice firm in East Yorkshire.\n
\nThe role is suitable for both part qualified and qualified ACCA/ACA accountants.\n
\nThe role will sit within an established team and provide much needed support to this busy firm. Duties will include the preparation of clients' accounts and review of accounts prepared by junior staff, meeting clients on a regular basis discussing their needs, advising and preparing final accounts, prepare corporation tax returns and self-assessment returns, preparation and review of VAT returns, liaison with HMRC and other external bodies.\n
\nYou may be a fully qualified ACA/ACCA accountant or a part qualified studier for which study support will be provided to finish exams\n
\nSystems literate and with strong Excel skills, you enjoy working collaboratively as part of a close-knit team and forming long lasting business relationships with your clients. For this reason, you must have excellent communication skills both verbal and in writing and have the ability to meet deadlines.\n
\nThis is a full time and permanent appointment although candidates who are looking for a part time opportunity with a minimum of 3 days per week should also apply. Flexible start and leave times with some hybrid working options could help those with family commitments. All arrangements are open for discussion.\n
