Long-Term Contract until December 2027
Monday to Friday 7:30am 3:30pm 40 Hours Per Week
We're looking for an experienced Rolling Stock Fitterto join a busy team working on vehicle, bogie and rail overhauls. If you've got the hands-on skills, a great eye for detail, and enjoy working on large-scale engineering projects, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Be Doing\nAs a Rolling Stock Fitter, you'll be:
\n- \n
- Stripping, rebuilding and fitting mechanical components \n
- Working on large vehicle and coach overhaul projects \n
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics \n
- Using hand and power tools to cut, fit, assemble and modify components \n
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure everything lines up perfectly \n
- Following Health & Safety procedures and maintaining a safe workshop environment \n
You'll be a great fit if you have:
\n- \n
- Proven Mechanical Fitter experience in a technical or production environment \n
- Experience working on vehicles, rolling stock, coaches, heavy engineering or similar \n
- The ability to confidently read and work from engineering drawings \n
- Strong hand and power tool skills \n
- A keen eye for detail and a problem-solving mindset \n
- Experience in rail, aviation, military, marine or heavy vehicle sectors (desirable) \n
- Basic electrical schematic reading skills (a bonus, not essential) \n

- Long-term contract through to December 2027 \n
- PAYE:£20.05 per hour \n
- Umbrella:£27.34 per hour \n
- Stable day shifts with no weekends \n
