The client
\nThis is an excellent temporary opportunity to join a well-established business offering full-time, Monday to Friday working hours, with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract.
\nThe role – Temporary Timber Production Operative
\nIf you're looking for a hands-on role, enjoy working as part of a team and want a position that offers job security, training and regular hours with your weekends free, we'd love to hear from you. Full training and support will be provided.
\nAs a Timber Production Operative, your duties will include:

- Working as part of a small, friendly team \n
- Building, repairing and refurbishing wooden pallets \n
- Using hand tools, power tools and machinery \n
- Measuring, cutting and assembling timber products \n
- Inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are met \n
- Preparing pallets for storage and dispatch \n
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment \n
- Operating production equipment safely and efficiently \n
- Following all Health & Safety procedures \n
We are keen to hear from candidates who have experience working within:

- Production and manufacturing environments \n
- Construction and labouring roles \n
- Warehouse and logistics operations \n
- Joinery, woodworking or workshop environments \n
- Landscaping, fencing or outdoor manual work \n
- Agricultural, farming or engineering environments \n
- Any hands-on role involving tools, machinery or physical work \n
You will also possess:

- A positive attitude and willingness to learn \n
- Good attention to detail \n
- Excellent timekeeping and reliability \n
- Good communication skills \n
- The ability to work well as part of a team \n
- Flexibility and a strong work ethic \n
Your hours of work are Monday – Friday, 7am – 4:30pm, paid at £12.71 per hour, with overtime paid at £19.07 after 40 hours per week. You will be working within a highly supportive, team led environment offering the potential for a temporary to permanent role and a long term career opportunity.
