Job Description
Electrician | Belfast & Northern Ireland | Full Time | Monday to Friday, 8:00 am 5:00 pm | PAYE or Subcontract | £38,000 - £42,000 per annum (DOE)

\nThe Role
\nAs an Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical installations, rewires, repairs, board changes, and EICR testing within customer properties. You will ensure all work is completed in line with BS7671 requirements while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nSurvey sites where electrical systems are installed
\nCarry out periodic inspections of clients' electrical installations in accordance with the current edition of BS7671
\nProduce Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) via EasyCert (or other software) to meet the requirements and quality standards of clients and external accrediting bodies (e.g. NICEIC)
\nPerform electrical tests and inspections and produce the appropriate documentation in accordance with the current edition of BS7671
\nIdentify electrical problems and carry out remedial works as part of inspections where appropriate
\nCarry out rewires, board changes, installations, general repair work and produce EICR certificates as required
\nAdhere to company Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times
\nKeep up to date with changes and amendments to standards, regulations and best practices within the electrical industry
\nAttend toolbox meetings as required
\nMaintain acceptable stock levels
\nSupport, coach and train apprentices as required
\nWork with the Operations, Technical, Project and Contract teams to deliver contracts within set timescales
\nAchieve personal and team KPIs, ensuring completed jobs meet business and client expectations
\nPromote all aspects of Health & Safety to ensure compliance with legislation and company procedures
\nContinually seek opportunities to enhance client relationships and service provision
\nWhat Were Looking for
\nFully qualified Electrician
\nLevel 3 Testing & Inspection qualification (2391 or equivalent)
\nLevel 3 Electrical Installation qualification (2330 or equivalent)
\n18th Edition qualification
\nValid ECS Card
\nAsbestos Awareness training completed within the last six months
\nMinimum of one year's experience within social housing, carrying out installations, repairs, inspection and testing, and emergency lighting work
\nStrong knowledge of the Electricity at Work Regulations and the current edition of BS7671
\nGood understanding of electrical inspection, testing, verification, certification, and reporting procedures
\nGood IT skills, including Microsoft Office and tablet-based software
\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills
\nGood understanding of Health & Safety legislation
\nFull UK driving licence
\nOwn tools (tester can be supplied for PAYE employees if required)
\nDesirable
\nPrevious experience working within a social housing environment
\nExperience carrying out installations, repairs, inspection and testing, and emergency lighting testing and installation
\nExperience using EasyCert software for EICRs
\nWhats In It For You
\n£38,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
\nFull-time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
\nPosition available on a PAYE or Subcontract basis
\nFully field-based role covering Northern Ireland
