\nUnitech Blaymires Ltd are leading manufacturers of Metal Pressings, Laser Cutting, Fabrications and Coil Processing to a wide range of customers, manufacturing to high quality standards. Based in Lye, Stourbridge, as part of a restructure of the business, we have a fantastic new opportunity to recruit for a Tube Laser Machine Coordinator to complement our existing team.
\nRole Overview:
\nReporting directly to the Operations Manager, this role is responsible for coordinating/operating the Bodor Tube laser cutting machine, in order to manufacture components to drawing specifications, utilizing materials and minimising waste. Other duties involved within this role are outlined below:
\nMain duties will include:
\nPerform daily machine start up and shutdown procedures on CNC cutting equipment .
\nHave a clear understanding regarding the operational functions of the Tube Laser Machine.
\nCoordinate & carry out minor maintenance and cleaning of cutting equipment and work area in accordance with company standards and manufactures machine recommendations.
\nCoordinate & perform machine alignments procedures and optic cleaning to keep equipment at peak operating performance.
\nFacilitate work-order paper flow in accordance with ISO quality standards.
\nMonitor and assist resonator gas levels and recommend supply requirements for daily production.
\nAdhere to the drawing / approved sample specifications in line with customers requirements, enabling quality products to be manufactured.
\nEnsure that setting and operating machinery is adhered to in line with strict health and safety regulations.
\nCoordinate & carry out quality checks and record the necessary data to enable clear traceability.
\nReport any issues that may jeopardize quality standards.
\nAssist with any other task as required in line with business needs and as required within your skill set and experience
\nSkills & Experience Required:
\nExperience in carrying out costing analysis and providing a quotation in line with incoming enquires.
\nExperience of nesting programs in relation to CNC Laser Machines.
\nPossess three or more years experience operating CO2 laser and/or CNC cutting machines.
\nBe experienced on multiple brands of CNC machines such as Amada , Bystronic etc. Familiarity with software programming or have a good understanding will enable you to control and operate the Bodor Tube Laser Machine fully.
\nAbility to read and where required formulate drawings, with a basic knowledge of Auto CAD/Solid Works.
\nBe able to work on own initiative and be self-sufficient in all areas of responsibility.
\nBe organised and have the ability to prioritise and multi-task.
\nWork well as a team member and able to communicate effectively with own other departments.
\nUnderstand and support of Company policies and procedures.
\nPossess a flexible working attitude.
\nMust pay attention to detail.
\nBe used to using safe working practices.
\nFlexible to cover basic office duties where possible during certain time in a month.
