The Role:

HireGiant are looking for a reliable and professionalClass 1 Driverto work with our client based in Lutterworth, This is an ongoing role doing 2-3 deliveries per day, you may have the odd collection/back load. This is long and Mid distance work.

\n

\n

Your responsibilities as a HGV1 driver will include:

\n

\n

\n
• \n

  Completingdeliveries of general haulage to businesses & RDCs

\n
• \n

  Driving the class 1 curtain side trailer in a safe manor

\n
• \n

  no handball, this is a nice haulage role

\n
• \n

  Ensuring all paperwork and PODs are completed accurately

\n
• \n

  Maintaining excellent customer service standards

\n

\n
\nRequirements for the Class 1 driver:\n
\n

\n
• \n

  ValidHGV 1 (Category C+E) Licence

\n
• \n

  Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card

\n
• \n

  Strapping and Reversing competence

\n
• \n

  New pass LGV1 Drivers welcome training and support provided

\n
• \n

  HGV LTD drivers welcome

\n

\n
\nHours & Pay for the Class 1 HGV Driver:\n

\n
• \n

  Start times between 6.00am - 07:00am

\n
• \n

  Shifts:10-12 hoursdepending on route

\n
• \n

  PAYEPay rate:£16.50 - £18.00 per hour

\n
